The following concept is identical to the one used for LaBox 2023. It will get an update but the notion will be the same.

Dear Teams,
We’re excited to have you at LaBox 2023!

We want everyone to have a positive experience at our tournament and to look back
at LaBox fondly. Therefore, we would like to remind you of a handful of fundamental
rules. We want to create an atmosphere free from discrimination and harassment for all
attendees. Racist, ableist, sexist and queerphobic behaviors have no place at our
tournament. We expect all attendees to treat each other with respect on and off the
field. In case these rules are violated, we reserve the right to exclude participants from
the tournament. The tournament fee will not be refunded.

Our awareness team will be there for you during the tournament. If you observe or
experience harassment or discrimination, you can reach out to a member of the
awareness team, recognizable by their awareness pinnies. Additionally, two members of
the main organization team will be available via phone all tournament long. Their phone numbers will be published on the tournament site.

The awareness team will

• listen to those affected and determine what kind of support they need
• offer a safe space for those affected that those affected do not have to deal with the person accused of harassment/discrimination themselves
• decide what consequences the accused person will face (in consultation with the organizing team)
